A little bit about us

We start by thanking Allah most high for his immense generosity and sending the most excellent of salutations upon the final messenger, Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him. We are grateful to Allah, for he granted us the opportunity to try and serve His faith by facilitating a passage of ease for those who seek to learn.

Britain has a myriad of institutions that provide children with a positive and valuable Islamic education. During the last two decades, many educators have called for a modernisation in the approach to teaching and learning for British Muslim children. In response, the community of Islamic scholars and educators has been producing texts that incrementally enhance the learning experience for Muslim children. I called together a team of students to try and take some of our existing content and create a single set of texts furthering the enhancement of this vital learning experience. The team working on the Qamar series have tried to enhance this experience for children by modernising it to fit with the approaches that are most effective for children. We hope that the first edition of the Qamar series marks the beginning of a journey that will ultimately help us to shine a light onto the potential that would otherwise rest in darkness.

Lastly, I would like to thank all those who aided us in this effort, including Qutub Akuji, Salim Patel, Mohammed Haveliwala, Farid Natha, Ibrahim Adam and many others who contributed in their own ways. We ask Allah for success and acceptance.
